The Himalayan Village School primarily serves the nearby village communities. The majority of our students come from small villages in the surrounding areas. We firmly believe in the family and community values engendered by living in close-knit groups, as well as the respect for our environment which comes naturally to those living so closely connected to it.
Admission is not exclusively for children from village communities, however, since of late, Majkhali has seen an influx of new residents, eager to escape the poor living conditions in urban areas. While we do accept students relocated from other cities, it is important to understand that we strongly believe in a holistic, natural style of living and education.
It is a privilege to belong to a Himalayan village community, and all who respect these values are welcome.
Your child will learn what it means to be a part of a beautiful and cooperative community, while having meaningful interactions with the rest of the world.
